Demolition, site work, new construction and addition to a mixed-use development in Colchester, Vermont. Completed plans call for the addition of a museum; for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility; for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility; for the demolition of a museum; and museum.
This project consists of, but is not limited to, labor and material for constructing a pre-engineered building and associated site improvements. The project will be constructed as an addition adjacent to the existing museum. Access to the site will be through the front gate at Camp Johnson. Structural systems consist of conventional concrete foundations with spread footings, a pre-engineered building structural steel frame, insulated metal wall panels, and insulated standing seam metal roof panels. Aluminum-insulated windows and hollow metal doors will be utilized. Power will be provided to the new building from an existing power line adjacent to the project via a new underground service. Special instructions include a mandatory pre-bid meeting at the site, and all visitors must surrender a valid ID during their stay. Subcontractors are encouraged to attend. All personnel working on the project must submit to a criminal background check if not currently on file and current within one year, and comply with all facility access and security policies.
