Washtenaw County Purchasing Division is issuing a Request for Proposal on behalf of Parks & Recreation for the Border to Border Trail: Dexter Connection, RFP # 8886. Completed bids must be uploaded using the 'Submit a Proposal' feature in the Open Bids listing. The project is located west of Dexter, MI between the Miller-Smith Preserve (Scio Township) near the intersection of Parker Road at Dexter Chelsea Road, and Mill Creek Park (City of Dexter) near the intersection of Grand and Broad Streets. The project will construct a non-motorized trail, boardwalk, and bridge over Mill Creek with a total project length of approximately 0.7 miles. Work includes, but is not limited to earthwork, concrete flatwork, structural concrete, pile installation, erection of a restored historic truss bridge (bridge restoration by others), construction of boardwalk, railings, traffic control, sign installation, pavement marking, site restoration, and other related items. The contractor shall be responsible for site layout. The contractor shall supply, furnish, and install all materials, labor, and equipment necessary to construct the project in its entirety as outlined in this RFP.
