Sealed bids are requested for the construction of the COL-SR14-9.02 project in Columbiana, Ohio. The project includes approximately 783 cubic yards of excavation, 2,158 linear feet of Concrete Curb Type 2, 7,938 square feet of 4-inch concrete walk, 680 linear feet of storm sewer conduit, 21 catch basins, and 691 cubic yards of asphalt concrete. Detailed plans and specifications are available for viewing at a specified location, and copies can be obtained for a fee. All proposals must be sealed, marked appropriately, and delivered to the City Manager before the specified opening date and time. Bidders may be required to provide references and detailed information to establish responsibility, experience, skill, and financial standing. Bidders must be pre-qualified with the Ohio Department of Transportation for the type of work involved and must perform at least 30% of the total bid amount. Attention is required to prevailing wage rates as set by the U.S. Department of Labor under the Davis-Bacon Act.
