Sealed proposals are requested for the following: 118,625 square yards of single asphalt seal coat, in place, with slag aggregate; 2,458 square yards of single asphalt seal coat, in place, with limestone aggregate; 313,141 square yards of double asphalt seal coat, in place; and 418,625 square yards of asphalt fog seal for asphalt seal coats. Proposals must be submitted on forms provided by the Municipality. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, made payable to the municipality. A performance bond or certified check in the amount of 100% of the contract is required from the successful bidder within 20 days of contract award. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $975.00 per calendar day.
