Sealed proposals are requested for the 2025 Vertical Down Substructure Repairs, PIN 5764.18, Project No. FA-5764.18-25. The scope of work includes bridge rehabilitation, specifically concrete abutment repairs, membrane and overlay, joint repairs, and railing safety upgrades. This is a Locally Administered Federal-Aid Project and requires compliance with NYSDOT standards and 23 CFR Part 635. Bidders must download the bid package directly from the Erie County Department of Public Works website to be registered for communication and addenda. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check for $80,000.00 as a bid deposit, payable to the County of Erie. Attention is called to the Special Instructions and Special Specifications accompanying the Itemized Proposal, which include Federal, State, and County contract forms, NYSDOL Certificate of Contractor Registration, NYS Uniform Contracting Questionnaire Form CCA-2 A/B/C, OSHA Training certifications, use of Equitable Business Opportunity (EBO) software, Davis-Bacon Federal and/or NYSDOL Minimum Wage Rates, and applicable schedules. Requirements such as Minority Workforce, NYS Apprenticeship Program, and 0% Disadvantaged Business Enterprise participation goals may apply. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids if deemed in the best interest of Erie County. The contract completion is anticipated by October 30, 2026.
