Remodeling of a mixed-use development in Livingston, Alabama. Completed plans call for the remodel of a multi-residential development; and educational facility.
Sealed proposals are requested for the UWA Selden Hall and Patterson Apartments Interior Finish Upgrades at The University of West Alabama. A cashier's check or bid bond payable to The University of West Alabama in an amount not less than five percent of the bid, but not more than $10,000, must accompany each proposal. Performance and Payment Bonds and evidence of insurance are required. Drawings and Specifications can be examined at the Architect’s office or TuscaBlue, and bid documents can be obtained from the Construction Manager, Hall-Taylor Construction, Inc. Bids must be submitted on proposal forms furnished by the Architect. All bidders exceeding the State Licensing Board threshold must be licensed under Alabama law and display their license number on the outside of the sealed envelope. The Owner reserves the right to reject proposals and waive technical errors if deemed in the Owner's best interest. Nonresident bidders must submit a written opinion from an attorney licensed in their state regarding any preference laws for home-state businesses. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held; the attending company employee should have relevant qualifications and experience.
