Contractors are responsible for arranging a site visit and verifying all required quantities and measurements prior to bidding. Bids shall be accepted from contractors licensed under LA. R.S. 37:2150-2192. No bid bond or performance bond is required. Contractors must include a copy of their insurance declaration page demonstrating general liability and workers compensation insurance coverage, naming the Allen Parish Police Jury as additional insured, with their bid or within 10 days after submitting their bid. Bidder must comply with provisions and requirements of LA R.S. 38:2212(B)(5). No bid may be withdrawn for 45 days after receipt of bids, except under provisions of LA. R.S. 38:2214. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause. The requirements stated in this section and bidding documents shall not be waived by any entity.
