Renovation of a mixed-use development in Bismarck, North Dakota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and educational facility.
Sealed bids are requested for partial roof replacement projects at Dorothy Moses Elementary, Miller Elementary, Riverside Elementary, and Simle Middle School. Construction is anticipated to start in May 2026 and must be substantially completed by August 7, 2026. Bids must be accompanied by a separate envelope containing the contractor's license and bid security in compliance with North Dakota Century Code Section 48-01.2-05. The bid security must be five percent of the full bid amount, including all alternates, and in the form of a bidder's bond. A copy of the license or Certificate of Renewal from the Secretary of State must be included in the bid bond envelope in compliance with Section 43-07-12. Bids that do not comply with these instructions will not be opened or publicly read. The successful bidder is required to furnish a Performance-Payment Bond. Product substitutions or questions regarding the bidding documents must be submitted in writing or by email at least four calendar days prior to the bid opening. The project will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder as determined by the Owner, who also reserves the right to hold bids for 60 days, reject any or all bids, waive informalities or irregularities, and rebid the project until a satisfactory bid is received.
