Site work and paving for a road / highway in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Work under this contract will consist of applying Micro-Surfacing, consisting of a mixture of an approved emulsified asphalt, mineral aggregate, water, and specified additives, proportioned, mixed and uniformly spread over a properly prepared asphalt surface on 4.01 miles of City streets covering a surface area of approximately 84,005 square yards (Sq.Yd.). Additionally work will consist of 9.01 Miles of bike trail covering approximately 53,622 square yards. All Micro-Surfacing on the listed streets will include intersection radius fillets, as marked by the City. This contract will also include removal of all existing paint markings prior to microsurfacing, as well as painting of new lines words and symbols. In addition, some temp line markers will need to be placed prior to micro-surfacing.
