Qualified contractors are invited to bid on providing Residential Municipal Solid Waste & Recycling Collection & Disposal Services, including management, collection, transportation, and proper disposal of all acceptable municipal solid waste, recycling, and bulky waste from each eligible residential premises. Pricing is also requested for dumpster service at specified town buildings and Board of Education properties. Services include the purchase, administration, and distribution of new 95-gallon automated curbside carts for both municipal solid waste and recycling, along with maintenance of these carts for the duration of the contract. Contractors are responsible for all costs related to labor, equipment purchases, operations, and repairs, and must comply with all Federal, State, and local laws. Sealed bids must be submitted in accordance with the provided instructions. Bid security of 5% of the year-one bid must accompany each submission. Performance and labor and materials payment bonds, each equal to 100% of the year-one contract price, will be required from the successful bidder. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the bid opening. MBE, WBE, and SBE businesses are encouraged to apply. Emailed, faxed, or late submissions will not be considered.
