Site work for a mixed-use development in Bloomfield, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade sidewalk / parking lot; one-story above grade library; and one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field.
**As of March 04, 2026, project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The project consists of the installation of a Children's Garden area with a "Perk E Pave" porous flexible pavement surface, play equipment, seating and ornamental details, fencing, replacement of the existing parking lot, installation of a new drainage system, new concrete sidewalks, minor grading, landscaping, and other incidental work. Bid Security in the amount of 5 percent (5%) of the Bid must accompany each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish Performance and Labor and Materials Payment bonds, each in amount equal to 100 percent (100%) of the contract price. No Bidder may withdraw their Bid within 60 days after the opening. Prevailing wages, as determined by the Connecticut Department of Labor, must be paid in association with this project. All proposals must be submitted in a sealed package, containing one original clearly identified as such, two additional copies, and one electronic file on a thumb drive. Packages must be addressed to the Town of Bloomfield Purchasing Department and clearly marked with the project name. Emailed, faxed, or late bids will not be considered.
