Site work for a water / sewer project in Aumsville, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work includes removing approximately 900 dry tons of municipal biosolids from two, clay-lined wastewater lagoons located at the Aumsville Wastewater Treatment Plant. The solids content of the sludge ranges from 2% to 8%. Upon removal, the biosolids shall be screened, dewatered, and hauled to an approved landfill for disposal. Payment will be by the bone-dry ton hauled as explained in the technical specifications for the project. Bids shall be clearly marked, showing the date and time of the public bid closing, as well as the Bidder's name, and shall be delivered to the specified location by or before the bid closing time. By no later than two working hours after the bid closing, each bidder shall deliver the 'First Tier Subcontractor Disclosure Form' to the Project Manager. Bidders who fail to submit the required disclosure form will be considered non-responsive, and their bid will not be considered for award. The disclosure form shall either be submitted in the same envelope as the bid, or in a separate sealed envelope clearly marked, showing the date and time of the disclosure submittal deadline, as well as the Bidder's name. Any prospective bidder not attending the pre-bid walk through will be fully responsible for making separate arrangements with the City for access to examine the project site. In the event that the prospective bidder fails to coordinate such separate access to inspect the site, the bidder will be fully responsible for any and all information affecting the cost, progress, or performance of the work that could have been obtained by such a pre-bid inspection visit. Copies of the Bid Documents may be examined at the locations specified in the instructions. Paper sets are not available for purchase. Complete digital copies of Bid Documents are available for download for a non-refundable payment. This contract is subject to prevailing wage laws and all applicable regulations and requirements. Pre-qualification requirements: Mandatory prequalification of each bidder is required for this project in accordance with the Owner's standards and as provided by OAR 137-049-0220. Specific requirements for the prequalification submittal are contained in the Instructions to Bidders, Article 3. Prequalification submittals shall include all information as outlined in Article 3 of the Instructions to Bidders. Prequalification statements for this project must be received by Westech Engineering by the deadline. Only bids from prequalified bidders will be opened. Faxed or emailed prequalification statements will not be accepted. Estimated between 2,000,000 to 2,500,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
