Sealed proposals are requested for the '2026 Multi-Municipal Street Paving' on Schuylkill Street in the Borough of Schuylkill Haven and in the Borough of Cressona, Schuylkill County. The work includes: 1,096 SY of Petro Mat or Equivalent; 50 Tons Bituminous Leveling Course using 9.5mm at 90 lb/sy; 138 Tons Bituminous Wearing Course using 9.5mm at 1 1/2 " Depth; and 411 LF of 4" Double Yellow Center Line with Glass Beads. All materials used must comply with PennDOT Publication 408 Specifications and Standards. Specifications and bid forms are available at the Schuylkill Haven Borough Municipal Building. Proposals must be submitted on Municipalities' forms. Each municipality is responsible for awarding its respective portion of the contract. The successful bidder must provide Performance and Payment Bonds for 100% of the individual municipality's awarded contract amount within 20 days of award. Each bid must include a certified check or bid bond for 10% of the total bid, made payable to Schuylkill Haven Borough. Municipalities reserve the right to accept or reject any or all proposals or portions thereof, delete projects or portions of projects depending on budgetary constraints, and waive technicalities as deemed in their best interest. Pre-qualification requirements: Bidders must be PennDOT prequalified and provide proof of prequalification. Attendance at a mandatory pre-bid meeting is required. Bids must include a certified check or bid bond for 10% of the total bid. The successful contractor must provide a Performance Bond and Payment Bond for 100% of the amount awarded by each municipality within 20 days of award. Each municipality will issue its own notice of award. Proposals must be submitted on the official forms provided by the municipalities.
