Sealed bids are requested for Troy Community Center Site Improvements at 1225 Last Chance Rd and 101 S Seneca St, Troy, KS 66087. Bids must be delivered to the office at Troy City Hall. The Information for Bidders, Bid Forms, Contract Forms, Plans, Specifications, Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bond, and other Contract Documents are available for examination at Troy City Hall and via Drexel Technologies. The Owner maintains the right to waive informalities or reject any or all bids. Each bidder is required to submit bid security in the specified amount and form stated in the Information for Bidders. No bid may be withdrawn within thirty (30) days following the bid opening date. Further requirements for bid submission, qualifications, procedures, and contract award are detailed in the Instructions to Bidders in the Bidding Documents. All contractors and subcontractors must comply with the federal Davis-Bacon Act, Copeland "Anti-Kickback" Act, Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act, federal prevailing wage rates, and other labor standards and nondiscrimination requirements. Compliance is also required with the Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA), which mandates all iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials used in the project be produced in the United States unless a waiver is granted. Minority, women, and disadvantaged business enterprises are encouraged to participate.
