The City of Toledo is seeking proposals for the complete removal of Central Ave. Bridge over Buckeye St., PID 120549, raising the grade of Central Ave. to meet existing, and the construction of new pavement and guardrail along Central Ave. Electronic responses are required, including line items, city paperwork, annual paperwork, project paperwork, a 5% bid guaranty, a signed construction contract, a tax exemption certificate, and any additional necessary uploads. The award will be a lump sum and bidders must be ODOT pre-qualified. Bid bonds, payment bonds, and performance bonds are required at 5%, 100%, and 100% respectively. Bids are valid for 90 days. If using a check as the bid guaranty, the check must be received by the Division of Purchases and Supplies no later than the due date and time to be deemed responsive. The check must also be scanned and uploaded with the e-bid. Company checks and personal checks will NOT be accepted. Checks shall be made payable to "City of Toledo." If your company is using a bid bond, scan and upload with bid; the original does not need to be received by the City of Toledo.
