The following description, while not intended to cover all details, outlines some items of the work to be accomplished under this Contract: Base Bid 1. Sanitary sewer: o Construct approximately 11,243 LF of 8" HDPE DR-17 by bursting o Construct approximately 5,642 LF of 8" PVC SDR26 by trenching. 2. Manholes: o Remove & replace 4-ft diameter manholes (28) o Remove & replace 5-ft diameter manholes (9) o Construct 4-ft diameter manholes (16). o Rehab 4-ft diameter manholes (32); o Rehab 5-ft diameter manholes (9). 3. Assess & clean approximately 5,000 LF of 21" sanitary sewer along N Park Ln. Add Alternate 1 1. Construct approximately: o Construct approximately 1,871 LF of 8" HDPE DR-17 by bursting o Construct approximately 1,202 LF of 8" PVC SDR26 by trenching o Construct approximately 1,013 LF of 10" HDPE DR-17 by bursting o Construct approximately 1,763 LF of 15" HDPE DR-17 by bursting o Construct approximately 1,782 LF of 18" HDPE DR-17 by bursting o Construct approximately 2,854 LF of 18" PVC SDR26 by trenching o Construct approximately 732 LF of 24" HDPE DR-17 by bursting 2. Manholes: o Remove & replace 4-ft diameter manholes (21) o Remove & replace 5-ft diameter manholes (4) o Construct 4-ft diameter manholes (5) o Rehab 4-ft diameter manholes (17) o Rehab 5-ft diameter manholes (2) o Remove 4-ft diameter manhole (1) Note: The system must stay in operation throughout construction. Temporary pumping, piping, plugs, shut offs, etc. shall be considered incidental and included in the cost of other bid items.
