Description

Renovation of a bridge / tunnel in Genoa, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a bridge / tunnel.

The contract work will consist of improvements to the pedestrian bridge on the south side of the David Carroll Memorial Citizens Park. The improvements will include the removal and replacement of the timber deck planks, nailers, support angles, and holddown angles. Existing stringers, floor beams, and diagonal bracing will be cleaned. The entire bridge should be powerwashed to remove debris and organic buildup.
