A timeline for award has not been established.** The City of Weston, WV is seeking bids for the tearing down, removal, restoration, or other reasonable demolition practices of structures located at 25 Depot St. The work includes all costs for mobilization, specialty testing and treatment, materials, hauling, and necessary equipment for proper works and restoration. All interested parties must contact the City Clerk to receive a complete bid packet with additional specifications, conditions, and a proposed list of projects. No bids shall be accepted unless submitted on the bid specifications obtained from the City Clerk. The City of Weston reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids.The Contractor shall include a price of the total job including but not limited to the following: 1) Demolition of the relevant structures including any basements, crawl spaces, exterior steps, etc. shall be torn down. 2) Removal of Material: All material including demolition debris, metal, and other items shall be removed from the subject property. No man-made materials shall remain. 3) Fill: All voids caused by the demolition of the subject structure shall be filled with clean fill. No bricks, blocks, or other foreign materials shall be used as fill. 4) Reclamation: The contractor shall grade the site then spread seed and mulch to facilitate vegetative growth. A minimum of 2" of topsoil shall be applied to the site to facilitate grass growth if deemed necessary by the City.
