Work consists generally of removal and replacement of portions of the existing roof assembly at Argenta Oreana Elementary School (approximately 7,115 square feet). The project includes all labor, tools, equipment, materials, and services for construction. Bids will be received for completion of the entire project under a single prime contract. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security consisting of a bid bond or certified check made payable to the Owner, in the amount of 5% of the bid sum. Performance and Payment bonds will be required. Bids on all work on the contract shall be subject to the provisions of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. Bidding Documents will be available on March 11, 2026. Bidders may obtain Bidding Documents from The Wassi Group, 208 South 1st Avenue, Morton, IL 61550. Bidders may receive a single Bidding Document set of digital PDF files online at no cost, with registration through The Wassi Group required for online sets. Bidders are responsible for obtaining their own hard copy prints of Bidding Documents. It is the bidder's responsibility to ensure receipt of all project addenda prior to bidding. CAD files will not be made available at any point. No bid shall be withdrawn for 60 days after the opening of bids without the consent of the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularities and to accept any or reject all bids when in the opinion of the Owner, such action will serve the best interest of the Owner. Questions received less than five (5) days before the bid opening cannot be answered.
