Sealed bids will be received at the office of the attorney of the Norfolk Sanitary District for the construction of Corporation Gulch 2026 Channel Liner repair. The work is located on Corporation Gulch in Norfolk, Nebraska, and consists of two segments: Segment 1 from Faith Regional Health Services to Koenigstein Avenue, and Segment 2 from Koenigstein Avenue to Pasewalk Avenue. The project, referred to as "Corporation Gulch Liner Repair 2026," includes all labor, materials, transportation, and equipment required for the removal of existing concrete, removal of unsuitable material and replacement with crushed concrete backfill, and construction of a new 6-inch PCC concrete channel liner. Bidders are required to submit their proposed beginning and completion dates for each segment along with their proposals. All bid proposals must be submitted on the forms provided in the bid documents and must include an unconditional bid bond or certified check equal to five percent of the total bid proposal. Each bidder must provide a start and end date for each segment, with the desired completion date for all segments being October 1, 2026, and each segment allotted 30 calendar days. The successful bidder must furnish a surety bond in an amount equal to or greater than the full contract amount within ten days after the award of the contract. The Norfolk Sanitary District Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any irregularities in bids received.
