**As of April 28, 2026, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The project consists of upgrading the existing asphalt walking trails at the Larry S. Bryant Sports Complex in Forrest City, Arkansas. The scope includes removing some of the existing asphalt trails, repairing cracks and bulges, placing new SB-2 base material, widening the trails to 12 feet, overlaying with 2 inches of new asphalt, and striping. The total length of the trails is approximately 5,258 linear feet. Bidders must submit sealed bids accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 5% of the bid, and include contractor's license information. All primary and subcontractors must be licensed according to Arkansas State Law before signing the contract. Build America and Buy America provisions, as well as all applicable labor laws, non-discrimination provisions, wage rate laws, and other federal requirements apply. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to award the contract in the best interest of the owner. Walking Trail Estimate is: $360,000 to $400,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
