Renovation of an educational facility in Berkeley, California. Working plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

**As of May 21, 2026 bids for this project has been rejected. As of this time it is unknown if and when project will rebid.** Replace select aging controls system infrastructure with new DDC devices, select mechanical components, and ALC interface. To allow evaluation, each bidder must submit a Contractor’s Special Statement of Experience on the contractor’s letterhead. The statement must include: 1. Documentation showing successful completion as prime contractor of a minimum of three (3) and a maximum of five (5) comparable projects, each with a construction value at award of $617,000 or greater, completed in the past seven (7) years. All submitted projects must be within the immediate nine Bay Area counties (Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, and Sonoma). 2. For each project, include: project name, project address, owner’s name, contract value at award, total change order value, completion date, owner’s representative email address and current phone number, and a description of how the project is comparable to the project being bid. 3. List all projects on all UC Campuses and National Labs (LBNL, LLNL) the bidder has completed or is currently working on within the last 5 years, if any.
