Kent County Purchasing Division is seeking quotations for a new lighting control system at the Kent County 63rd District Court, located at 1950 East Beltline Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49525. The new system will replace the existing LC&D Panel/Genesis 2400 series system. Work must be performed during business hours, 7am to 3pm, and should proceed continuously until completion. Desired completion is by September 1, 2026. Scope of services includes, but is not limited to: - Replacement of two relay panels - Replacement of eight interior photocells - Replacement of one exterior photocell - Installation of 15 occupancy sensors - Replacement of four relay panels in courtrooms - Installation of 24 power supplies - Replacement of nine two-button switches - Replacement of eleven four-button switches - Replacement of one keyed switch - System programming - Cable and wiring as required - Training on the system Dimensions, if provided, are for reference and should be verified by the respondent. Instructions to bidders: - Attendance at the mandatory pre-submission on-site conference is required. Attendees must sign in before the conference begins and will not be allowed to participate if late. Attendee should be an employee or authorized reseller of the respondent with appropriate knowledge. - All communication regarding the solicitation must occur through the Kent County Purchasing Division Inquiry Blog or during pre-proposal meetings. - Contract employees needing facility access must undergo a criminal background check. Kent County will determine suitability for work at this facility. Background checks may take up to three weeks, and the respondent should have sufficient approved personnel to cover absences.
