Renovation of a mixed-use development in Weston, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility; and pre-engineered storage facility.
The work consists of replacement of overhead sectional doors and commercial door operators on two buildings: Public Works Salt Shed and Main Building. The scope includes all labor, materials, equipment, removal of existing doors, and off-site disposal of all old materials. The work also includes the removal of old jambs and installation of new jambs on all openings. Minority and Women's Business Enterprises are encouraged to apply. Question Deadline 03/27/2026 Questions about this Invitation to Bid shall be submitted to Larry Roberts, Director of Public Works at lroberts@westonct.gov. Any request from prospective Bidders for interpretation of meaning of Contract Drawings or other Contract Documents shall be made in writing to the Weston Director of Public Works, Larry Roberts, via e-mail at lroberts@westonct.gov. All questions must be received at least seven (7) days prior to the date fixed for opening of bids in order to be considered.
