Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Bakersfield, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work to be performed consists, in general, of resurfacing and coating of the Effluent Launder, abrasive blasting and epoxy coating of metal surfaces of the East Secondary Clarifier #2, replacing wipers on blades/squeegees and skimmers, and the removal and replacement of the scum box of the East Secondary Clarifier #2. Sealed Bids for construction are to be submitted in accordance with the plans and special provisions referenced for the project: Kern Sanitation Authority Resurfacing and Coating of East Secondary Clarifier #2. Bids must be delivered following provided instructions for submission locations and before the stated deadline. Bid date desp- a) Mailed via United States Postal Service to Kern County Public Works Department, 2700"M" Street, Suite 400, Bakersfield, California, 93301;(b) Delivered in person or by courier service to the Kern County Public Works Department,Suite 400, 4th Floor, Public Services Building, 2700 "M" Street, Bakersfield, California; or(c) From 10:45 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. delivered in person to the first floor meeting room of saidPublic Services Building. bid open at same time Question Deadline 04/02/2026 at 4:00 PM PT change from 04/01/2026 Email requests for clarification or interpretation to the Public Works Contracts Group at PWContracts@kerncounty.com.
