Site work for a communication facility in Lebanon, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a communication facility.
As of May 06, 2026, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded within three weeks. The work consists of furnishing and installing a complete SCADA system to replace and upgrade the City's existing master station and operator workstation. The current SCADA system was supplied by QEI Inc. approximately 10 years ago. The master station comprises a single computer/server with HDD, alarm printer, 16 port terminal serial server, network switch, and satellite clock. The operator workstation is a desktop computer running Microsoft Windows and includes two color monitors, keyboard, mouse, and CD ROM drive. Communications to the Remote Terminal Units is via one single mode fiber optic loop, utilizing DNP3.0 protocol over IP. All bids must be signed and submitted in duplicate using the forms provided. Bids must state the price by item, be enclosed in a sealed envelope, and include the full names of all interested parties and a notarized non-collusion clause. A bid bond or certified check for ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount is required. The successful bidder must post a Performance-Payment Bond for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. No bids may be withdrawn for 60 days after the bid deadline. Only registered bidders, having contacted the Engineer's Office, may submit proposals. The City of Lebanon, Ohio reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in bidding.
