The work includes construction of recreation improvements and related site work, generally encompassing the installation of a new pavilion, parking area, access drive, pickleball court, walking trail, and stormwater basin. The scope includes protection of the existing park, restoration of disturbed areas, and all other associated work and items as indicated in the bid documents. Bidders must submit a proposal guarantee in the amount of ten percent of their maximum bid price (not exceeding $20,000). A performance bond equal to 100% of the bid will be required prior to contract award. Successful bidders must comply with New Jersey Public Law 1975, Chapter 127 (non-discrimination in employment), and the State of New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act, P.L. 1963, c. 150, and all amendments. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive informalities, defects, or irregularities. Proposals of the three lowest bidders cannot be withdrawn for sixty days following bid opening. Bidders must follow all instructions and terms as outlined in the bid documents.
