The project consists of constructing a Regional Jet Hangar and Innovation Center. Bids must be prepared and submitted on the prescribed forms in accordance with the instructions in the Instructions to Bidders and General Provisions (Section 20) Divisions of the Project Manual. Each bidder must include with their proposal a bid security equal to at least 10% of the Base Bid, in the form and subject to the conditions specified in Section 20 of the General Provisions. No bid may be withdrawn within 120 days after the bid opening. Successful bidders must enter into the agreement and furnish a Contract Bond and evidence of required insurance within fifteen (15) days after notification of acceptance of the proposal, as specified in the Contract Documents. Wages as predetermined by the US Secretary of Labor and Industry and included in the specifications and contract documents or addenda must be used by the contractor when paying labor in connection with the work. All work is subject to the regulations in Division 8 of the Project Manual. The contract is subject to federal nondiscrimination requirements, and disadvantaged business enterprises must be given full opportunity to submit bids.
