2026 Seal Coat Project on various roads in Tunkhannock Township, Monroe County, Pennsylvania involves the application of Single Bituminous Seal Coat as per Penn DOT Pub 408 Section 470, Type II Slurry Seal as per Penn DOT Pub 408 Section 482, and installation of 4" Double Yellow Center Line with Glass Beads. All materials must comply with PENNDOT Pub 408 Specifications and Standards. Bidders must be PENNDOT prequalified. Proposals are to be submitted on forms provided by Tunkhannock and marked "2026 Seal Coat Project." A certified check or bid bond for 10% of the bid amount is required. The successful bidder must provide a Performance and Payment Bond equal to 100% of the contract price within 20 days of contract award. Tunkhannock Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals or portions thereof, delete projects or portions due to budget, and waive technicalities as needed.
