The work consists of providing all labor, equipment, and materials for the construction of the 2026 Asphalt Resurfacing Program Project. Materials and workmanship must conform to the State of Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) Construction and Materials Specifications, January 1, 2023 Edition or the most recent Edition, unless otherwise noted. Proposals must include all items. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal a Bid Bond or a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security in Bond form must be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety, including for the subcontractors performing work under this contract. Each proposal must contain the full name, address, and phone number of the party or parties submitting the proposal. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experience on projects of similar size and complexity. The project must be completed no later than November 20, 2026. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor. Contractor compliance with equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and Governor's Executive Order 84-9 is required. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on public improvements in Montgomery County as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Division of Labor and Worker Safety – Wage and Hour. The project is separated into a base bid and a potential bid alternate. The township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any formalities in the bidding, and to enter into a contract with the bidder who, in the Township's opinion, offered the lowest and best responsive bid submitted by a responsible bidder.
