Furnishing of equipment, labor, and supervision for sewer maintenance, emergency repairs, and other construction-related projects in Tinicum Township, Delaware County, for the Tinicum Township, Delaware County Sewage Authority, and Tinicum Township. Each bidder must submit a certified check or bid bond in an amount not less than ten percent of the total bid, payable to Tinicum Township, Delaware County. All forms and papers required to accompany the bid must be uploaded prior to the bid due date and time. The successful bidder must furnish a Contractor’s Performance Bond and a Labor and Materialmen’s Bond in the amount of the accepted bid, with an approved surety company. The surety company must have no less than an “A” Best Rating and provide documentation of authority to do business in Pennsylvania, with no reinsurer. No bid may be withdrawn within ninety days of the bid opening date. Prevailing wage rates and federal confined space entry guidelines apply, along with all other applicable laws and regulations. The Township reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids or parts thereof, and to waive informalities in the bidding. Each bid must include a signed commitment from the proposed surety to execute a performance bond, a statement of bidder’s qualifications, and all forms required by the County of Delaware such as Bid Bond or Certified Check, Letter of Intent, Certificate of Authority/Statement Accompanying Proposal, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Statement of Bidders Qualifications, and Subcontractor Declaration Form.
