Renovation of a water / sewer project in South Rockwood, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 225-square-foot water / sewer project.

The Department of Technology, Management and Budget, in partnership with the Department of Natural Resources - Wildlife Division, seeks proposals for Phases 300 - 700 to replace the shell of a 15' x 15' light frame structure that houses electrical panels and switchgear for site dual pumps controlling the diked ponds' water level. The structural skeleton is to be retained. Work includes installing a mini-split unit, adding insulation, providing an access door, and installing adequate lighting. A $2,000 allowance for environmental testing prior to demolition is required to ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards. Materials for the shell and insulation will be discussed and finalized in consultation with the selected professional, with cost estimates expected to support decision-making and material selection for simplicity and functionality. During design, three meetings are required: a kickoff at the site, a findings/proposed plan meeting via Teams, and a final Teams meeting. Deliverables are at 50% and 100%, combining phases to match these deliverables. During construction, in addition to Pre-Bid, Pre-Construction Kick-Off, there will be three Microsoft TEAMS meetings for progress and closeout. Plans must be reviewed by the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, which will inspect work during construction. Proposal responses must be uploaded to SIGMA VSS, with the total cost for all phases entered as the bid amount. Technical and cost proposals must be combined into a single attachment for submission with a maximum size of 25mb.
