Description

Renovation of a multi-residential development in Omaha, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.

Sealed bids are invited for the control of dwelling unit lead hazards at 5375 N 27th Ave. Bids must be submitted as specified to the Rehab Division of the Planning Department, Room 1111, Omaha/Douglas Civic Center, and must be marked with the address and job number. Bids must be received by 3:00 P.M. on the closing date. Not less than the minimum salaries and wages specified by the U.S. Secretary of Labor must be paid on the rehabilitation work. The contractor must ensure non-discrimination in employment based on race, color, creed, sex, or national origin. Bidders must file a certificate of insurance with the Rehab Division showing comprehensive public liability insurance coverage of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate, protecting the property owner. Evidence of worker's compensation insurance is also required before proceeding with the work. The owner reserves the right to accept, reject, or negotiate any or all bids in whole or in part.
