Renovation of an educational facility in Flint, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Genesee Intermediate School District will receive bids for Summerfield Community School Phase 2 Renovations. A single lump sum proposal is being entertained for the complete work. Bidders shall submit an original and two copies of their bid, accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship that exists between the Owner or any employee of the bidder and any member of the School Board or the Superintendent of Schools. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or a satisfactory Surety Bid Bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid price as guaranty. Bidding documents consist of plans and specifications as prepared by Wakely Associates Inc./Architects, Warren, Michigan, and can be obtained at designated locations. The right to accept and/or reject any and all proposals and to waive any and all informalities and/or irregularities in bid proposals submitted during the bidding process is reserved by the Owner. All bids must be submitted on forms included in this proposal and accompanied by the required disclosure statement. Proposals for base bids may not be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the time established for the receipt of proposals.
