For Site 2, the scope includes demolition and removal of the entire main structure and all attached additions, removal and proper disposal of all contents within the building and additions, removal of roofing, siding, framing, foundation components as required, and associated materials, proper sorting, hauling, and disposal of all demolition materials, and final site grading and stabilization after demolition is complete. Instructions to bidders include: obtain all necessary permits from local and state authorities, comply with New York State Department of Environmental Conservation regulations, New York State Department of Labor and OSHA safety standards, ensure proper handling and disposal of demolition materials and building contents at approved facilities, take precautions to protect surrounding structures, utilities, sidewalks, and public areas, implement dust control, debris containment, and safety measures, coordinate with the Essex County Land Bank regarding scheduling and access, and stop work immediately and notify the Essex County Land Bank if hazardous materials are encountered.
