The City of Del Rio is seeking sealed bids from a qualified General Contractor for Phase III of the Paul Poag Theatre Rehabilitation, located at 746 South Main Street, Del Rio, Texas. The scope of work shall strictly follow the construction documents prepared by Architect Able City, LLP. Bids must be delivered in a sealed envelope, labeled as indicated in the instructions, either by mail or hand delivery. Late bids will not be accepted. There is a mandatory pre-bid conference at the project site. The City reserves the right to request additional or supplemental information, to waive technical or format requirements, and to consider any other relevant factors. The City of Del Rio is seeking to obtain sealed bids from a qualified General Contractor for Services for the Paul Poag Theatre Project, located at 746 South Main Street in Del Rio, Texas. The work will include the following scope of work in strict accordance with the construction documents prepared by Architect, Able City, LLP., located at 110 Broadway St. Suite 590, San Antonio, TX 78205. The scope of work for the Paul Poag theatre requires the contractor to repair and rehabilitate the existing building to be in code compliance with the City of Del Rio and their development services department’s code and ordinances. The contractor will have site improvements on the west side of the building at the front entrance, where the existing paved sidewalk will be carefully removed, salvaged and stored for reuse, and be ramped and elevated to match the finished floor elevation of the theatre’s lobby. The contractor will reuse the pavers at the new ramp and elevated sidewalk. The top existing curb will be cut and raised where a new guardrail will be installed on a raised curb. On the east side of the building where the contractor will install a new concrete ramp and stairs at the existing loading dock and provide concrete pads for the new hvac equipment
