Description

Demolition and renovation of a swimming pool in Del Rio, Texas. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a swimming pool.

The City is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified engineering and architectural consultants for evaluation, design, and construction phase services related to the rehabilitation of the Buena Vista Swimming Pool located at 1300 Kings Way in Del Rio, Texas 78840. The selected firm will provide evaluation, design, and construction services, including demolition of the existing pool and related infrastructure. The new pool must be constructed of reinforced pneumatically applied concrete, with slip-resistant concrete decks, playscapes, interactive water features, and/or slides. All work must comply with applicable Texas Administrative Codes and standards. Sealed submittals are to be accepted up until 2:00 PM CST on May 01, 2026. Submittals can be mailed or hand delivered, and must be labeled appropriately. Late submittals will not be accepted and will be returned unopened. This solicitation does not commit the City to award a contract, pay any costs for submission, or procure listed items or services. The City reserves the right to consider other relevant factors, request additional or supplemental information, and to waive any technical or format requirements.
