DeSoto County, Mississippi, Board of Supervisors invites qualified firms to submit proposals for space planning services for the County Administration Building and County Courthouse. The purpose is to assess current space utilization, develop optimized layouts, and recommend improvements to accommodate departmental growth while complying with accessibility standards and building codes. Services include conducting site assessments (Administration Building: 50,478 sq ft; Courthouse: 47,563 sq ft), creating additional workspace using existing furniture and equipment, developing conceptual designs and floor plans, integrating technology and sustainability features, preparing cost estimates, and coordinating with County staff via meetings and presentations. Deliverables will include reports, CAD drawings, and 3D renderings. Instructions require proposals to be submitted either electronically or in sealed envelopes, including a cover letter, firm profile with resumes and certifications, technical approach and timeline, cost breakdown by task, references and sample work, and completed forms such as non-collusion affidavits and conflict of interest disclosures. All proposals must include a flash drive/USB. Proposals will be evaluated based on technical expertise (30 points), approach/methodology (30), cost effectiveness (30), and references/performance history (10).
