Pulverize, compact, and pave with hot mix asphalt in two lifts compacted to the listed thickness: North Bay Road (County ZZ to Marshall Point Bay Road) 2.2 miles, 22 feet wide, 4.0 inches thick; North Bay Road (gravel portion, Marshall Point Bay Road to termini at North Bay boat launch) 0.4 mile, 20 feet wide, 3.0 inches thick. Paving radius at intersections must be considered. Driveways are to be saw cut, asphalt removed, and gravel added; 6 to 8 linear feet of asphalt at all saw cut driveways is required. Approximate tonnage for each road must be listed on the bid form. A visual inspection of roads should be arranged with the Town office or crew. Work must be completed prior to May 22, 2026. Bidder must grade after pulverizing and complete finished grading and compacting prior to paving. Notify the Town office prior to staking. Provide two lifts of LT 58-28 S hot mix asphalt per the latest WDOT specifications. State price per ton in place for asphalt mix. Materials must conform to WDOT specifications. Testing for required air void specifications, with documentation provided to the Town within 15 days of project completion. Certificate of insurance must accompany bid. All bidders must be pre-qualified with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation or provide a Statement of Qualifications with the bid. Sealed bids must be submitted by 10 AM Friday, March 27, 2026. The Town reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, waive technicalities, and postpone award for up to 30 days. Bids shall remain firm for that period.
