Sealed subcontractor bids are requested for the Glenwood Elementary School Multi-Purpose / Building D Renovation. Bids must be received in accordance with the contract documents and must be fully responsive to this invitation, the plans, and specifications. The successful bidder must comply with labor codes regarding the payment of prevailing wages and apprenticeship or other training programs. The rates for holiday and overtime work must be at least time and one half. Bids cannot be withdrawn for sixty days after the bid opening date. The district reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities or irregularities in the bidding. There is no formal bid opening. Minority, women, and disabled veteran contractors are encouraged to submit bids. The project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the California Department of Industrial Relations.
