Site work for a water / sewer project in Ripley, West Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Furnishing and installation of approximately 115 linear feet of 6-inch diameter variable-grade sanitary sewer line, and all necessary appurtenances. In order to be considered a valid and responsible Bidder, the Bidder must obtain a copy of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office prior to the Bid opening date. Printed copies of the bidding documents are available for $50.00 per set, and digital copies for $30.00 per set. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets obtained from other sources. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders included in the Bidding Documents. No Bid security shall be waived or returned because the Bidder failed to or cannot comply with any requirements set forth in the Bidding Documents or any applicable statutes. The District reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including nonconforming, non-responsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject the Bid of any Bidder it finds to be non-responsible, and may negotiate contract terms with the successful Bidder. The Owner may also waive all minor informalities not involving price, time, or changes in the Work. Bidders are required to comply with President's Order No. 11246 (which prohibits discrimination in employment), Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Anti-Kickback Act, Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act, and West Virginia Division of Labor minimum wage requirements. The successful Bidder agrees to comply with the West Virginia Jobs Act and the Alcohol & Drug Free Workplace Act. Bidders must follow the requirements for Affirmative Action and Minority Business Enterprises participation to achieve Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation during the contract. The Bidder must make good faith efforts to subcontract a portion of the contract to MBE/WBE Disadvantaged businesses, following the six good faith efforts as outlined in 40 CFR 31.36(e). Failure to do so may result in rejection of the bid. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty days after the opening of the Bids. Contractors must be properly licensed per West Virginia State Code, and must include license numbers in bids. Bids will not be read or will be rejected if proper Bid surety does not accompany the Bid or if the Bid is incomplete or non-responsive. It is the Bidder's responsibility to provide a complete, fully responsive, and valid Bid and Bid surety conforming to the requirements outlined. Doc Notes: Bidding Documents purchased as digital drawings and digital specifications are available for $30.00, per set by being downloaded from a source designated by the Issuing Office. Amounts paid are not subject to refund. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
