RFP - Asbestos Abatement Oscarson Elementary School and Circleville Elementary School Piute County School District is seeking competitive bids for asbestos abatement and disposal services at Oscarson Elementary School and Circleville Elementary School. These projects are essential precursors to scheduled demolition activities. Bidders are required to submit comprehensive proposals for two scopes of work, one for each school, with detailed specifications provided separately. All bidding contractors must be AHERA certified with the Utah Division of Air Quality and capable of performing work under negative air pressure in compliance with OSHA, EPA, and State of Utah DAQ regulations. Proposals must include a full cost breakdown for labor, materials, insurance, and disposal permits, along with verification of Utah DAQ Company licensing. Bid pricing must be held until June 1, 2027. Estimated quantities are provided, but contractors are responsible for field-verifying all dimensions. Participation in an on-site walk through at both school locations is required for all bidding contractors, during which they must verify quantities as no change orders will be granted for items that could have been confirmed during the pre-bid site visit.
