Demolition and site work for a residential development in Miami, Florida. Completed plans call for the demolition of a 10,000-square-foot, two-story above grade residential development.

Scope of Work: Contractor must obtain and submit all permits prior to performing any work. The use of explosives is not permitted. The contractor and any sub-contractors shall perform no work until a Notice to Proceed with Contract Work has been issued by the user agency, all necessary permits have been obtained, and all utility lines have been identified. The contractor shall verify and ensure all utilities, piping, and conduit have been disconnected before proceeding with the demolition work. The contractor is responsible for clearing and removing the entire structure, including all pipes, equipment, wires, reinforcing steel, foundations, and footings that are wholly or partially exposed or above grade. All rubble, debris, and chattel resulting from demolition must be removed from the premises. All holes or cavities must be filled to leave the premises in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition. Septic tanks must be pumped out and abandoned in accordance with state regulations, and the contractor must submit the original permit and signed final inspection with each invoice. Trees, palms, or shrubs should not be removed except where necessary for the required work. The contractor is responsible for the disconnection of all plumbing utilities and for obtaining all permits and inspections for sewer cutting and capping, septic tank pump out and abandonment, and electrical disconnection. Demolition debris must be disposed of as required by law. Demolition areas should be rough graded after demolition, and any additional backfill material required is at no extra cost. The specifications describe the work required for completion of the project, and any omissions do not relieve the bidder from performing necessary work. All work must be performed by a licensed Demolition Service contractor. if you have any questions, contact Mare Jean at 786-315-2505.
