Contractor shall provide all tools, materials, components, labor, and supervision necessary for repair and painting required for Project 550-24-109 Pond Area Improvement CON. Work shall comply with all applicable federal, state, and local codes and regulations, as well as VA Codes, Standards, and Executive Orders, including Veterans Affairs Illiana Healthcare System (VAIHCS) Construction Safety Policy, VA Infection Control Policy, VAIHCS site-specific requirements, and Standard Operating Procedures. All work shall include a one-year parts and labor warranty from the date of VA acceptance. Work must be completed within 180 calendar days of receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Competition is restricted to verified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses under Public Law 109-461 and 38 USC 8127(d). The solicitation will include all drawings, plans, and specifications and is expected to be issued on or about April 7, 2026, with bids due on or about May 7, 2026. A pre-bid site visit will be held, and bidders are responsible for monitoring and downloading amendments from SAM.gov. At bid submission and prior to award, bidders must represent that they are SDVOSBs under VAAR Subpart 819.70, small under the assigned NAICS code, and listed as verified in the SBA database.
