Renovation of a military facility in Miami, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.

USDA is in need of Construction Services to furnish and install a new 100KW generator, ATS (sized to meet existing and up to 600A), Diesel Fuel Tank, and New Concrete Pad. The contractor shall provide at a minimum, the following Conduct a site visit to verify existing conditions, access constraints, utility connections, environmental factors, and proposed location for new equipment provided a new location has been identified. The contractor shall verify existing generator and ATS sizing. Provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supervision, and incidentals necessary to complete the work described in this Statement of Work. The contractor shall be responsible for coordinating all phases of work and minimizing impacts on ongoing facility operations. All work shall be performed in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, codes, and USDA requirements. The contractor shall remove and dispose of the existing backup generator system, including the 100 kW diesel genset, automatic transfer switch, diesel fuel tank, fuel, and concrete pad, and furnish and install a new diesel-powered backup generator, automatic transfer switch, diesel fuel tank with fuel, and new concrete pad. Work includes all mechanical, electrical, piping, exhaust, grounding, control, and associated tasks needed for a complete and functional installation. The new generator must provide at least 100 kW of standby capacity, with larger-capacity units acceptable if all requirements are met. Services include supplying up to 550 gallons of fuel for startup and testing, startup and commissioning activities, equipment testing, and delivery of all submittals, shop drawings, manuals, warranties, as-built documentation, and required training.
