Repair one 500 kW Satcon inverter by salvaging usable internal components from a second failed Satcon inverter and replace the second 500 kW inverter by installing new California-certified SMA Sunny Tripower CORE1 or similar string inverters to restore approximately 500 kW of solar generation capacity. Tasks include performing diagnostic inspection of failed inverter systems, isolating faults, salvaging internal components from inverter TB, rebuilding inverter TD with new and recovered components including electrical modules, cooling fan assemblies, power supplies, connectors, and hardware, and decommissioning inverter TB due to non-repairable internal failure. The work includes installation and electrical integration of approximately sixteen 33 kW string inverters, system testing, commissioning, performance validation, and documentation of all repairs and test results. The contractor shall provide all labor, parts, materials, ladders or lifts, and equipment required to access the solar carport structure, and shall coordinate all shutdowns with facility management to ensure safety and continuity of operations. All work shall comply with applicable Federal, State, and local safety regulations, including OSHA requirements, NFPA 241, and VA facility safety and security procedures.
