Bids are requested for bushings, circuit breaker, 34.5KV, for DS-17, specifically ABB 034Z0412UT, which is a replacement bushing for General Electric circuit breaker bushing catalog number 7B530. The supplied bushings must match and intermember with existing GE 7B530 equipment already in use. Bidders must submit a mandatory authorized distributor letter from the manufacturer with their bid response, using the attached form in the vendor checklist as a cover letter. Delivery shall not exceed 380 calendar days from receipt of order. Only responses submitted through the eRSP system will be accepted. The contractor must comply with affirmative action program provisions, cannot assign or dispose of the contract without prior written consent, and must possess a valid BTRC or VRN. The award will be made to the lowest, responsive and responsible bidder, determined by the lowest ultimate cost to the department. The department reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and all prices quoted must be exclusive of federal excise taxes and include all delivery charges FOB City of Los Angeles Department of Water and Power. If a material or brand name is specified, equivalent alternatives may be offered. All forms required at bid submittal or upon request are located on the vendor checklist page of the eRSP system.
