Renovation of a water / sewer project in Monument, Colorado. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Contractor will provide all labor and equipment necessary to complete improvements to the existing water treatment facility at the Monument Fire Center. The facility supplies potable drinking water to fire center staff, and upgrades are required to address the periodic presence of soluble lead in the well water. Work includes implementing Optimal Corrosion Control Treatment (OCCT) to ensure compliance with Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment regulations and support continued safe drinking water operations. 3751 Mount Herman Road, Monument, CO 80132 Question Deadline date changed from 03/24/2026 to 04/02/2026 as per Amendment 1 The purpose of this project is to complete improvements to the existing water treatment facility at the Monument Fire Center. The water treatment facility supplies potable drinking water to the fire center staff. Due to the periodic presence of soluble lead in the well water, the Government is required to add Optimal Corrosion Control Treatment (OCCT) to the water treatment facility to comply with Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) regulations. Building installation is anticipated to be completed by September 30, 2026.
