The project is for facility painting at Cartersville Middle School, Cartersville High School, and the District Office Annex. The scope of work includes: 1. Painting at the District Office Annex: Exterior, doors, and framing. 2. Painting at Cartersville Middle School: Exterior doors and framing. 3. Painting at Cartersville High School: Building N (restrooms, hallways, and classrooms), Weinman Stadium (concrete seating areas, tunnels, sides of stadium, back of stadium, knee walls, concession stand doors/frames). Instructions to bidders: - Proposals are due no later than 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 14, 2026, and will be opened publicly at that time. - Proposals must be submitted on the provided forms. Bidders may attach other relevant information. - Proposals must meet Georgia Department of Education guidelines. - The RFP will be awarded as one contract to a single contractor. - Proposals must include manufacturer and paint information. - A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 2:00 PM EST, Thursday, April 2, 2026, at the Cartersville City School System's Central Office. - The School Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals. - Work is to begin no earlier than June 1, 2026, and be completed no later than July 12, 2026. - Payment will be made within 30 days of project completion. - Proposals will be evaluated on price, start date, completion date, and materials to be used. - Contractor must provide all paint and materials to complete the scope of work. - Contractor must discard and remove from site all items with paint residue. - Contractor must provide a Certificate of Liability Insurance, E-Verification number, Workers Compensation Insurance, and a W-9 form.
