Demolition, site work and new construction of a civil project in Albert Lea, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; and for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Removal and replacement of Br L5611 with Br 24J67; removal and replacement of Br L5619 with Br 24J68; removal and replacement of Br 89286 with Br 24J57. The major items of work include: 1,075 tons of Aggregate Surfacing Class 2; 40 linear feet of 10X6 Precast Concrete Box Culvert; 66 linear feet of 12X6 Precast Concrete Box Culvert; 116 linear feet of 138" Span RC Pipe-Arch Culvert Class IIA; and 630 tons of Random Riprap Class III. Proposals must be sealed, identified on the envelope, and accompanied by a Bidder's Bond or Certified Check in an amount equal to at least 5% of the total bid made payable to the Auditor/Treasurer of Freeborn County. The Freeborn County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities therein.
